Devonport Tours

Tourists can choose to explore Devonport by foot or alternatively take a ride on the Town & Country Clydesdales. A covered wagon pulled by legendary Clydesdales horses who starred in Hercules leaves from outside the ferry terminal. The tour guide Dan can be contacted on Ph: (09) 238 6675.

Another alternative would be to hop on the Devonport Explorer Tour bus which departs hourly from the ferry termninal. The tour bus is comfortably air conditioned along with a fantastic commentary of all the highlights of Devonport, including the volcanic hills and viewing spots with 360 degree view of Auckland. Devonport Wharf

From Auckland- The ferry can be taken from the Ferry Buildings located on Quay St at the end of Queen St.
From Devonport- The ferry can be taken at the Devonport Wharf, only two minutes walk from the village.
The Ferry takes approximately 12 minutes and leaves every 30 minutes during the daily.
