Matariki Progressive Dinner

For the true foodie, four Devonport restaurants have come together to offer two nights of progressive dinners. Travel down our dining corridor and sample each Matariki dish served by Hemingways, Vondel, Vic Road Kitchen and Dixie Browns in a progressive dining experience. At the end all guests will be given their own Matariki Horopiko and Caramel Chocolate Star specially made by Devonport Chocolates. Each meal will be a smaller version of the dish served by each restaurant for Matariki, and all will be matched with a perfectly fitting NZ wine or cider.

The dishes are:

  1. Kumara, Ginger and Gisborne Orange Soup @ Hemingways
  2. Manuka smoked hapuka, pikopiko and kanuka honey @ Vondel
  3. Wild boar with smoked eel, beetroot, watercress and kawakawa @ Vic Road Kitchen
  4. Chocolate fondant with caramel kumara puree, chocolate soil and manuka smoked honey ice cream, with a Horopiko & Caramel Chocolate Star @ Dixie Browns. 

Tickets are $96 per person. There are only 30 tickets available on each night, so be sure to book yours now.

Tuesday 3 July, starting at Hemingways at 6pm. Tuesday 10 July, starting at Hemingways at 7pm. Move on to each restaurant within 45 minutes of the last.
