Located on Ngataringa Road in Devonport, the brand-new William Sanders Retirement Village is nestled amongst peaceful surroundings with views of Mount Victoria / Takarunga, Rangitoto, Auckland city and the harbour bridge.

Pure Advantage functions as both a generator and communicator of knowledge, undertaking and supporting a variety of green growth-focused research activities and outputs. Through this work we seek to disseminate cutting-edge theory and practice that will transform how New Zealanders understand and manage the relationship between the environment and the economy.

We are just a small Association in the heart of the Devonport community. The Association meets upstairs in the spacious hall every second Monday at 1100 with a free light lunch served from our kitchen. The Association does not provide public restaurant or bar services, so while the Secretary may often be in the office, the rooms are not open on a regular basis.

Our purpose is to enhance the social, cultural and physical wellbeing of the local community by providing accessible and affordable facilities and a wide range of programmes, workshops and opportunities for people of all ages, cultures and interests to come together in a safe and supportive environment to meet people, make friends, try new things, learn, share, contribute and participate in their local community.

Visitors to the Museum can take a journey through the memories, perils, loss and, triumphs and humour of the men and women who served – and continue to serve – this country on the ocean waves.

Devonport School of Dance offers RAD ballet, NZAMD contemporary, jazz,tap, hip hop and open acro, lyrical classes from pre-schoolers through to adults.

Displays include natural and geological history, local landmarks, early settlement and later developments, social, maritime and transport history, tools, toys and family and household effects. We provide access to some display material, a research service, and a place to receive and process items and information of local interest
